Lurie Poston, a young actor from Charleston, South Carolina, attended AMTC at the age of four, where he won first place in talent, commercial, sitcom and lifestyles. He immediately landed top representation from Alan Mills of The Marshak/Zachary Co. and signed a modeling contract with Ford Agency. Shortly after coming to L.A., Lurie booked several national print campaigns and commercials for companies such as Target, Bank of America, Gap and Pottery Barn. In his second year, he booked his first feature film, “Girls Will be Girls”.
He also got a lot of notice as Trace Adkins’ son in the “One Hot Mama” video, which garnered a male video of the year award from CMT. Lurie returned home from New York where he spent the one year working in the Broadway musical Chitty Chitty Bang Bang, a 16 million dollar production that earned eight Tony nominations. Lurie also filmed a Papa John’s commercial for dessert pizza which aired nationally.
